Publication Protocol
● Authors should register themselves on the OJS first as new users and then upload their manuscripts
from the make a submission link. In case of any problems, you can E-mail to ijthcmh@christuniversity.in
explaining why the submission could not be made on the OJS. Submissions via email are not considered
for publication. Only submissions through the journal’s portal is considered for publication.
● In case where an article has more than one author, the person registering on the OJS is required to click
on the tab 'Add contributor' and enter names of all authors who have written the paper. This is
important as at the time of publication on the OJS, the names of authors are taken directly from the
meta data. Any change in authorship must be reflected by the registered author on the OJS. The order
of authorship in the manuscript should be the same as the metadata in the journal’s submission portal.
Any changes must be conveyed to the journal via email.
● Articles are sent for double blind review once it is processed for editorial desk review.
● After receiving the review comments from two reviewers and collectively drawing the conclusion, the
decision along with comments are sent to the authors.
● The articles can either be fully accepted or rejected or be suggested minor or major revisions before
resubmission.
● The revised articles are received from the authors, they are sent to the editorial team for final decision.
● Accepted articles are sent for typesetting and proof reading.
● The authors initially receive the Gally Proof of their articles which are sent to them by E-mail for any
corrections which have to be incorporated.
● Once the editing and corrections are done, corresponding author will receive the Final Gally Proof (PDF)
with doi, QR code, issue details including page numbers for final approval.
● Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the authors will have to sign an author agreement form without
which the manuscript will not proceed towards publication.
● In case of some discrepancies erratum is provided in the subsequent issue.
Author Agreement Form
Upon notification of acceptance, authors will be required to sign an author agreement form. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of publication, including copyright and licensing information. After incorporating the final corrections as well as the signing of the author agreement form, the articles are sent for online publication and printing. Authors receive an Electronic Reprint of their articles after it is published online.
Peer Review Process
The journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality and objectivity of published articles. Author identities are concealed from reviewers, and reviewer identities are concealed from authors. To facilitate this process, please submit your manuscript with a separate title page that includes your author details. The anonymised manuscript itself should exclude any information that could identify the authors.
Publishing Timeline
We strive to provide a prompt and efficient publishing process. Here's a general guideline for turnaround times:
Desk review: 2 weeks
Peer review time: 2 to 3 months
Final Decision to the Author: 4 to 6 months
