Call for Papers for the January - June 2027 Issue
The Journal and Publication Society of School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) invites submissions for the 30th issue (Vol.16, No.1) of the Christ University Law Journal (January -June 2027), based on the broad themes that fall within the scope and ambit of a sustainable economy loop as has been enshrined in SDGs 1[No Poverty], 8 [Decent Work and Economic Growth], 9 [Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure)], 11 [Sustainable Cities and Communities] and 12 [Responsible Consumption and Production].
While the Sustainable Development Goals are broadly classified, authors may either deal with the above-mentioned goals individually or club two or more of them. However, it is pertinent to note that the journal’s focal point demands a specific pointed discussion on law and policy, and authors are to positively bring about a solid legal issue/ policy gap in the identified goals of their choice. Bringing about a connection with SDG 16 [Peace and Justice Strong Institutions], and an examination of the judicial process in fostering these ideals too can be undertaken. That said, the emphasis should be on identifying the underlying legal problems that exist and provide a roadmap towards achieving the 2030 Agenda.
Christ University Law Journal (CULJ) is a biannual, double blind, peer-reviewed journal. Submissions can be in the form of research articles, case comments (2026), and book reviews (2026 publication).
