Review Policy

The CU Journal of Non-Linear Fluid Mechanics follows a single-blind review system where the reviewers remain anonymous to the authors. Through this process, the scientific integrity and high quality of the published articles will be ensured. This policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for conducting single-blind peer reviews. The selection of reviewers for articles will be based on their proficiency in the domain of non-linear fluid mechanics. Qualified reviewers with a track record of research and publications in pertinent fields will be selected by the editorial board and invited. Reviewers will be able to decide whether or not to accept the invitation based on their knowledge and availability.

To guarantee the efficacy and impartiality of the peer review process, the editorial board will govern it. Editors will designate submissions to suitable reviewers, track the status of reviews, and make decisions based on editorial considerations and the recommendations of reviewers. The editorial office will make an effort to make the review process go more quickly. Reviewers are expected to provide their reviews in the allotted period, and the editorial board will actively oversee the procedure to reduce any delays. The editor will make the final decision about a manuscript's acceptance, revision, or rejection based on the reviewers' feedback and overall evaluation. The median time for completing the first review process is approximately four weeks. Clear and helpful criticism will be given to authors to help with revisions.
