Submission Checklist

Before submitting the manuscript, check your submission for the following:

  • All co-authors are listed and correct affiliations are provided. This cannot be changed at a later stage.
  • Names and emails of reviewers are specified, as separate files (Minimum of 3 reviewers). (Optional)
  • All co-authors have been notified that the manuscript is being submitted.
  • All changes noted in “track revisions” have been accepted.

An author will be designated and identified as the corresponding author whose full e-mail address and postal address are included in the manuscript.

The manuscript must include the following necessary information:

  • Title
  • Author Details
  • Abstract (150 words)
  • Graphical abstract (Optional)
  • Keywords (3 to 6)
  • Main text

This is the most important section of the manuscript as it includes all the necessary information starting from the introduction to the conclusion.

  • References

No particular format needs to be followed. However, the referencing style must remain the same throughout the manuscript. The final published version will have an IEEE referencing format.

  • Graphs, tables and figures

Figures and tables have captions. Figure insets, if any, are described in the caption.

Graphs ought to have clearly labelled axes, legends, and data points.

Type fonts ought to be clear and legible.

It is preferred that graphics be embedded wherever mentioned in the manuscript text.

The figures must be of at least 300 dpi resolution.

  • Supporting information

For Publication or for Review Only, if any, are uploaded as separate files and not placed directly in the manuscript.

  • Permission to reuse previously published materials

 

Written permission has been obtained for all content and graphics for which the authors or the CU Joural of Non-Linear Fluid Mechanics do not hold copyright.

  • Funding details in acknowledgements

Authors are required to report funding sources and grant/award numbers.

  • Conflict of interest

A statement describing any financial conflicts of interest or lack thereof is published with each manuscript.

During the submission process, the Corresponding Author must provide this statement on behalf of all authors of the manuscript.

The statement should describe all potential sources of bias, including affiliations, funding sources, and financial or management relationships, that may constitute conflicts of interest.

The statement will be published in the final article. If no conflict of interest is declared, the following statement will be published in the article: ”The authors declare no competing financial interest.”
