Abstract

Several strands of literature attempt to address accounting as organisationally situated practice. This paper discusses relevant literature and studies on accounting in religious organisations (Christian) and the effect of wider culture where it operates. A first strand of research that examines the use of accounting in Christian organisation is identified.
