Atna - Journal of Tourism Studies (ISSN: 0975-3281)   publishes original research from all areas and interdisciplinary studies pertaining to Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Tourism is an amalgamated discipline having its existence through the linkages with multiple disciplines. Leisure and Recreation Management is the focus area of this discipline. To offer leisure and recreation multiple stakeholders get involved. History, culture and heritage are an integral part of the tourism product. Similarly, Transportation, Accommodation and Ancillary services play a crucial role in the creation of visitors’ leisure and recreation experiences. These experiences can be captured in the concept of Destination, which is the nerve centre of a tourist’s experiences, influenced by the socio-cultural, economic and natural environment and its factor. 

The July-December issue of the Journal is focused on the larger themes pertaining to Tourism/Hospitality Management, inclusive of studies and research in the areas of:

  • AI and Sustainability
  • Culinary
  • Gastronomy
  • Hotel Management
  • Hospitality Education
  • Service Management issues in Hotels and Resorts
  • Functional Management studies and research in Hotels and Resorts
  • Studies on Accommodation Management

ATNA welcomes submissions in the form of viewpoints, research notes, case studies, literature reviews and research articles for thisissue. We welcome primary research-based articles on a broad range, which could include local, regional, national/global perspectives. We particularly seek  papers up to 8,000 words.
