Responsible Tourism: A Destination Perspective

Responsible tourism is a sustainable tourism approach, which encompasses all forms of tourism and seeks to minimize negative economic, environment and social impacts. It generates economic benefit to local people and enhances the wellbeing of host communities. It also makes positive contributions to the conservations of natural and cultural resources. Implementation of responsible tourism among different tourism players is considered as a tiresome task before the policy makers.
