Latest Trends in Management Literature: Emerging Perspectives and Future Directions

The field of management is undergoing rapid transformation due to technological advancements, changing workforce expectations, evolving business models, sustainability imperatives, and increasing global interconnectedness. These developments have generated a growing body of scholarly literature across diverse areas of management. 

To capture and critically synthesize these emerging developments, we invite high-quality review papers for a special issue/edited collection titled: “Latest Trends in Management Literature: Emerging Perspectives and Future Directions”. The initiative aims to provide a comprehensive overview of emerging themes, theoretical developments, methodological advancements, and future research directions in management. The review papers should synthesize existing scholarly literature and identify meaningful research gaps and opportunities for future investigation.

Suggested Themes: Authors may consider, but are not limited to, the following themes:

  • Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and Digital Transformation in Management
  • Future of Work, Human Resource Management and Employee Experience
  • Contemporary Leadership, Organizational Behaviour and Workplace Dynamics
  • Digital Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Customer Experience
  • FinTech, Digital Finance and Contemporary Accounting Practices
  • Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Emerging Business Models
  • Sustainability, ESG and Responsible Management
  • Digital Operations, Supply Chain Management and Industry 4.0/5.0
  • Strategic Management, Competitive Advantage and Organizational Transformation
  • Emerging Research Methods and Methodological Innovations in Management Research
  • Any other trending areas

 Authors are also welcome to propose review topics that fall outside these themes, provided they demonstrate clear relevance to contemporary management scholarship.

Where appropriate, authors are encouraged to follow established reporting frameworks such as PRISMA/SPAR4 SLR and clearly document their search strategy, databases, inclusion/exclusion criteria, analytical procedures, and synthesis approach.
