Publication Protocol

  1. Authors should register themselves in the journal website (built using the Open Journal System or OJS)  first as new users and then upload their manuscripts from the make a submission link. In case of any problems with manuscripts, please E-mail artha@christuniversity.in explaining why the submission could not be made on the OJS.
  2. In cases where an article has more than one author, the person registering on the OJS is required to click on the tab ‘Add contributor’ and enter names of all authors who have written the paper. This is important as at the time of publication on the OJS, the names of authors are taken directly from the meta data.
  3. Any change in authorship must be reflected by the registered author on the OJS.
  4. Once the issue is addressed, authors would be required to submit on the OJS.
  5. Articles are sent to the Editorial Board Members based on their research areas for initiating the review process.
  6. After receiving the review comments from reviewers and the editors drawing a conclusion on the same, the decision along with comments are sent to the authors.
  7. The articles can be accepted, rejected, or may be asked to be revised for minor corrections, or resubmitted after major revision.
  8. The revised articles are received from the authors, they are sent to the editorial team for final decision.
  9. Accepted articles are sent for typesetting and proof reading.
  10. The corresponding author will have to provide an author agreement in the prescribed format upon acceptance of the manuscript.
  11. The corresponding author receives the galley proof of their articles which are sent to them by E-mail for any corrections which have to be incorporated.
  12. Once the editing and corrections are done, the corresponding author will receive the Final Galley Proof (PDF) with DOI, QR code, and issue details including page numbers for final approval.
  13. After incorporating the final corrections, the articles are sent for online publication and printing.
  14. Authors receive the Electronic Reprint of their articles. In case of some discrepancies, erratum is provided in the subsequent issue.
