Aims and Scope

Artha Journal of Social Sciences is an open-access quarterly academic journal committed to fostering research in social sciences. While we are open to all disciplines of social sciences, we encourage submissions with a specific focus on economics, history, sociology, psychology, and political science, examining issues and problems of societies at large. Artha follows a pluralistic orientation in terms of academic research, without any bias or adherence to a particular school of thought in terms of scholastic inquiry.

We believe in constructive engagement in the academic community and offer an outlet for cooperation among scholars and those interested in social science research. The following contributions are considered for publication: empirical or theoretical articles, commentaries that provide insights on emerging social issues or contribute to topical discussions, perspectives that widen the academic-, research-, and policy-oriented discussions within social sciences, and reviews of books that would be of interest to a larger readership in social sciences.
